So virtual reality is basically a reality that is virtual. And I know that we have virtual reality right now, but it is not very advanced. The virtual reality that I want to experience one day is a virtual reality that incorporates all five senses and will feel like if you were sent to another world. So you will feel as if you are not in the actual reality, so you won't have to move your real body and will have full control of your body in the virtual reality, so it will feel as if this virtual world is another reality that is almost inextinguishable besides the fact that this virtual world would have stuff that is not possible in reality.
An example of this is the full dive virtual reality system that the anime Sword Art Online has.
The VR technology in SAO allows you to move your virtual body without moving your real body by basically sending your consciousness to the Virtual World.
So this is the main reason why I want VR like this because I would like to experience what it is like to have a superhuman body, experience sci-fi situations in the future and interact with many different intelligent species and this would all feel like it is reality.
Imagine being in a Star Wars like world and actually feeling like you're part of that world.
So if I want to meet with friends and make plans we could just meet in this virtual world and it would be a lot of fun spending time with them with VR. We could go to restaurants and to almost anything that we can do in our reality in this virtual reality.
